Lyvora
A decentralized e-commerce platform for buying and selling physical products. It eliminates traditional middlemen, KYC requirements, and borders by leveraging cryptocurrency payments and blockchain principles. The goal is to give full control back to sellers and buyers in a censorship-resistant, permissionless marketplace - contrasting centralized giants like Amazon or eBay.

The Challenge
Traditional e-commerce platforms like Amazon and eBay act as gatekeepers, charging high fees (often 10-15%), enforcing strict KYC requirements, and restricting cross-border trade based on payment methods or locations. Sellers frequently face arbitrary account suspension and payment holds. The challenge was to design and develop a trustless, decentralized marketplace where sellers and buyers could trade physical goods globally with complete autonomy and zero intermediaries.
Our Solution
We built Lyvora, a permissionless, decentralized Web3 e-commerce platform. Using React.js and Node.js for a highly responsive, modern storefront, we integrated Web3.js to enable self-custodial cryptocurrency payments via smart contracts. Supabase serves as a secure backend for real-time order tracking and encrypted messaging, while Docker ensures scalable, containerized deployments. This architecture completely bypasses traditional payment gateways, KYC processes, and centralized censorship.
The Results
- Zero KYC requirements for borderless, anonymous trading
- Censorship-resistant marketplace listings powered by decentralized architecture
- Secure escrow smart contracts protecting both buyers and sellers
